German Cup summary: R.B.
Leipzig - Hoffenheim 1:3 (Sport1)
Drama at the Davor family home in Germany: while Mons was preparing for the Hoffenheim cup game against R.B.
Leipzig (where he completed 90 minutes in a 3:1 loss), broke into his house and tried to rob him.
According to the report in "Bild", the robbers managed to steal several valuable objects and hundreds of euros in cash, before they were captured on the spot by police officers.
Their capture was aided by the special resourcefulness of Davor's wife, who was out of the house at the time of the burglary.
She detected the break-in in real time using a dedicated application of a security company, watched burglars wandering around the house in real time, and immediately reported to the police.
She gave the police an accurate description of the burglars, and her quick actions helped to locate them on the spot, almost immediately.

The burglars are now in custody.
An order to extend their detention was issued in the last day, out of fear that they would pose a danger to public peace.
Break-ins by property criminals into footballers' homes have already become almost routine.
Hackers often take advantage of the players' known schedule to attack during games or training.
This happened, among others, to Eran Zahavi, whose house in Amsterdam was broken into while his wife and children were at home.
