With a National 2 team leading its group and a women's team, 4th in D1 Arkema and fighting for qualification in the Champions League, Fleury has taken on a new dimension this season.
To support this growth, President Pascal Bovis has decided to appoint Fabrice Abriel, the women's coach, as director of football.
“He will notably be in charge of the professionalization of the two major teams: D1 Arkema and N2.
He will also be an advisor and a major player in monitoring the training center as well as the Academy, ”said the club in a press release.
Abriel (43), former pro (PSG, Lorient, OM, Nice) arrived at the Essonne club in November 2020 as assistant coach of the D1 Arkema team.
He went number 1 at the start of the 2021-2022 season.
