According to reports this morning (Friday) in Turkey, the former Real Madrid and Arsenal footballer and world champion with Germany in 2014, Mesut Ozil, has decided to retire from active play at the age of 34. According to local journalist Jakub Cinar, Ozil succumbed to injuries and informed the club members that he would not continue to play.
