Olympic champion Clément Noël dominated the first round of the Alpine Skiing World Cup slalom in Chamonix on Saturday, the last race before the World Championships in Courchevel / Méribel.

The French set the fastest time just ahead of the two Swiss, Ramon Zenhäusern (at 15/100) and Daniel Yule (at 17/100).
