not nice.
The 21st round of the Premier League was dedicated to the LGBT community in Israel, when before each game the players of both teams come up with a shirt with the pride symbol on it. However, today (Saturday), some of the players refused to identify themselves with the symbol.
The Romanian midfielder of Hapoel Beer Sheva, Adrian Faun, hid the symbol on his shirt, and then took it off before the ceremony that took place before the game against Nes Ziona.
After that, in the game of Maccabi Tel Aviv against Bnei Sakhnin in Bloomfield, most of the players of the visiting team from the north did not wear the shirts, while the only two players who did were the striker Guy Melamed and the goalkeeper Gad Amos.
The league director responded to the choice of the Bnei Sakhnin players not to wear the shirts bearing the pride symbol: "The league director regrets that there are those who chose not to take part in a social activity whose goal is to support a minority in Israeli society. The league director will continue to promote messages of understanding and inclusion in the league's activities in the future as well."
