Manuel Neuer, goalkeeper of Bayern Munich publicly criticizes the conduct of the club in an interview with "Athletic".
As you remember, the goalkeeper of the team was injured in a skiing accident and will not play until the end of the season.
Neuer told in an interview about his disappointment with the decision to fire the goalkeeping coach and his associate Tony Tapalovich, this after the latter leaked internal chats to the club's players: "It came out of nowhere and really hurt me," Neuer said.
"I understand that it might sound like I'm not objective or unreliable, but I really can make a difference."
Neuer: "I cried myself to sleep the day Toni [Tapalović] got sacked. It's a shame that our relationship has to end this way. Toni taught me a lot, I will miss singing Croatian Nazi songs with him" [@honigstein] pic .twitter.com/yAwtYE6UIT

"For me it was a blow - when I was already down on the ground. I felt like my heart was being ripped out. It was the cruelest thing I've experienced in my career. And I've experienced a lot."
The 42-year-old Tapalovic was an associate and friend of Neuer, who followed him to Bayern after working together at Schalke.
Despite being the captain, Neuer was completely torn by the club's decision.
Neuer also talked about the injury, and the moment he realized he would have to undergo surgery: "I was sitting here at home and I felt like shit. I couldn't sit still, even at first I didn't want to watch the games. I couldn't stand it."
Oliver Kahn, a member of the current Bayern board and the team's former goalkeeper, responded to Neuer's words: "What he said does not do justice to him as captain nor to Bayern's values. His statements came at a bad time because we have important games ahead of us."
