The Six Nations Tournament has barely started and we may already be holding the test for this 2023 edition. It was entered on Saturday by Scottish winger Duhan Van der Merwe, who produced an incredible festival during the game against England at Twickenham.
We were playing the 29th minute when the South African winger recovered the ball in his own half, 60 meters from the opposing try line.
The former Montpellier player then embarked on a monstrous rush, erasing 5 English defenders with disconcerting ease, to collapse into the in-goal and score the second try for XV du Chardon.
🤯 VAN DER MERWE!
What a personal achievement for the Scottish winger! #SixNations |

Author of his 16th try in 28 selections, Duhan Van der Merwe has established himself as the offensive weapon of the Scots for a few seasons.
He had finished top try scorer at the Six Nations Tournament in 2021 with five goals.
He is well on his way to reoffending.
