The friendly win against Landshut was balm for the soul.

After the frustrating season in the Bayern league so far, there was a 2:1 (1:0) win in the test kick against the top regional league team SpVgg Landshut on Saturday.
"It was good for the soul to win another game," said the new head coach Florian Brachtel after the game.
The coach saw his team put on an appealing game against a committed guest team.
Landshut presented itself as a strong opponent who gave up an opponent at eye level.
Ultimately, however, VfB's victory was okay and could have been better if the team had acted better near the goal.
In some promising situations, the Hallbergmooser made the wrong decisions.
Maurice David gains self-confidence
Important: Maurice David made it 1-0 after just nine minutes, confirming his recent training performance.
The striker, who moved from Ismaning to Hallbergmoos last summer, has not yet exhausted his potential, but has made great progress in preparation after the winter break: "He's on the right track," says Florian Brachtel and is happy that the attacker rewarded himself with the goal.

David Lucksch scores the winning goal
After the break, there was a lot of substitutions to give all players on both sides time to play.
As a result, the Landesliga club got a few chances to score and equalized after an hour.
Ten minutes later, however, another striker, David Lucksch, scored Hallberg's lead again.
Even if it was only a preparatory game and results play a rather subordinate role in such games, the result of the test kick was important for coach Brachtel: "The team needs the feeling of winning games again."
