Summary of Feyenoord's dramatic 2:2 against PSV Eindhoven (Sport1)
The battle for the championship in the Dutch league heated up this evening (Sunday) after PSV Eindhoven arrived in Rotterdam, led 2:0 and saw Feyenoord draw 2:2 in extra time of the main game in the 20th round.
Now Feyenoord is at the top with 43 points, Alkmaar second with 41, Ajax third with 40 after an easy 0:5 at Cambor and PSV fourth with 39.

Despite the injury to first-choice goalkeeper Justin Baillo, Ophir Marciano was not given a place in the Feyenoord squad and saw German Timon Wallenreuter make his debut between the posts.
Anwar Al Ghazi subdued him with a burst and gave PSV 0:1 in the fourth minute, Walter Benitez the Argentine kept the advantage with good saves and in the 68th minute came the second goal.
Precisely three minutes after Armando Obispo was sent off with the help of the VAR, Luc de Jong scored for new signing Thorgan Hazard, who had just made his debut six minutes earlier.
But then Alireza Jahanbakhsh came into action.
The Iranian got up from the bench, managed to shrink in the 82nd minute and deep in extra time, after quite a few misses, kicked outside the area to the crossbar and in in the 96th minute and established a fifth year in a row in which Feyenoord did not lose at home to their rival from Eindhoven.

Dušan Tadic broke free with a goal (16) and cooked for Steven Berghaus who completed a pair (36 and 64) and the substitute Brian Roby also followed suit with a pair of his own (79 and 90+3) on the way to an easy away victory.
Despite the streak of six draw results, which came after a loss and led to the dismissal of Alfred Sachroder, Ajax is only three points from the top.

In the next round, Feyenoord will play an away game against Hirnbein, while all the others will play at home: Alkmaar against Excelsior, Ajax will host RKS Valvijk and PSV against Groningen.
