The Brooklyn Nets decided this evening (Sunday) that Kyrie Irving will no longer play in the club this season, following his demand for an immediate trade even before this Thursday.
According to a report in TNT Sports, the Nets plan to disable the star until the end of the trade window and prevent him from playing in team meetings this week.
As you remember, last Friday Kyrie informed the management of his desire to leave the club in a trade already in the current window before the deadline on Thursday.
If the transfer is not possible by the end of next week, Kyrie made it clear to the team captains that he will sign with another team as a free agent this summer.

For those who have already managed to forget, Irving also demanded a trade at the end of last season after Brooklyn was eliminated from the playoffs in a humiliating sweep in the first round.
In the end, Kyrie relented and agreed to stay with the team.
It is also reported that the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas and Phoenix are the leading candidates to add the problematic center.
Either way, all the answers to the next stop in Irving's career will come Thursday night.
