The BC Attaching footballers botched their first test match.

"We're just not an artificial turf team," said coach Enes Mehmedovic.

Attaching

– The BC Attaching has completed its first week of preparation with the test at FC Langengeisling.

In the duel between the football district leagues, the north team from Attaching had to admit defeat at the club from the east season with 1:4 (0:3).

"We made far too many individual mistakes," said BCA coach Enes Mehmedovic, adding: "We're just not an artificial turf team.

If we had played in the corn field next door we probably would have done better.”

The BCA found the game difficult.

In the first half, the eleventh in the district league north made too many bad passes, and there were individual blunders.

Langgeisling used three of them to score.

"That was a very weak half for us," said coach Mehmedovic.

BCA newcomers are doing well

The coach made lively changes for the second 45 minutes, with newcomers Mesut Toprak and Ali Mezini coming into play.

The Attachinger conceded the 0:4 after another mistake, but from the 50th minute the guests increased.

Also because of Toprak and Mezini.

"Both of them did very well and will definitely help us," said Mehmedovic happily.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

However, none of the newcomers scored the goal to make it 1:4 (52nd), but with Simon Emmersberger, who has only played in the reserve this season so far.

Attaching had more chances - but nothing changed in the score.

"We now know where to start," said Mehmedovic.

2600 kilometers in three weeks

"So that we can get along better on artificial turf, we have one unit per week in the Soccer Five hall," the coach continued.

Stamina is also being worked on, although the kickers weren't idle during the break: in a three-week running challenge, the players reeled off a total of 2,600 kilometers.

"I'm optimistic about the future," emphasizes Mehmedovic.

However, the team from Attaching had to cancel Wednesday's test at VfB Forstinning due to personnel concerns.

The preparation game at FC Alte Haide-DSC Munich continues on Saturday.
