Summary: Tottenham - Manchester City 0:1 (Harry Kane became the club's all-time goalscorer) (Sport1)
Manchester City moved a little further away from the championship yesterday (Sunday), with a 1:0 loss to Tottenham that not only left Arsenal 5 points ahead at the top with a game to spare, but also raised renewed doubts among the commentators, who continued to regard them as the number 1 candidate for the championship in recent weeks.
"In recent weeks it seems that Pep Guardiola is starting to play games a bit. When I received the lineup sheet yesterday, this was my feeling. You go to a game like this without Kevin de Brauna and Ruben Dias? What are you trying to achieve with it?", said Gary Neville, who although warned that "even Sometimes you shouldn't eulogize City, sometimes it's really embarrassing to criticize Pep and within a week he proves you wrong. But in my feeling, something just doesn't work there. Something is wrong there. There is a strange feeling around the team."
Neville already admits that his disdain for Arsenal's championship chances is unjustified.
"I'm less and less confident in City. Cancelo's departure, De Brauna's bench, not using Gundoin - everything there feels strange. Pep is a football genius, but that doesn't mean he's immune to criticism."

The one who has been affected by City's recent poor season, is Arling Holland whose dizzying pace of conquests has stopped.
Yesterday he didn't even kick the frame, and didn't touch the ball in Tottenham's box.
Now, Jamie Carragher claims that Holland made a mistake when he chose City in the summer.
"We've seen maybe 60 percent of Erling Holland's capabilities so far," Krager said.
"He came to England from a league and from a team that is based on explosive attacks, on fast side-to-side football. He played there at a dizzying pace, and you just don't see him reaching that pace at City. He may have chosen the wrong team in the summer, because he is simply not maximizing his abilities. With him, City are a different team, and maybe not as good. It's not his fault. City just aren't built to play the football he needs to shine. True, Holland scored a lot of goals at the start of the season, and his numbers are still excellent, but we don't see the full package he is able to provide".
