Olympic skier Noa Solosh achieved her record ranking in the World Championships today (Monday), after finishing in 17th place in the combined competition in the championship held in Meribel, France.
Solosh, who celebrated her birthday a few days ago, achieved a time of 1:15.81 minutes in the first round of the Super G division, which temporarily ranked her in 28th place, but in the second round, she improved in the slalom with a result of 51.64 seconds.
In the end, the Israeli surfer achieved a weighted result of 2:07.45 minutes, which gave her the 17th place overall, when no less than 15 surfers failed to finish the competition.
The gold medal was won by Federica Brinone, who became the first Italian in history to win this competition, as the Beijing 2022 Olympic bronze medalist, finished the competition after 1:57.47 minutes.
The Swiss Wendy Hollander won silver with 1:59.09 minutes and the third Austrian Ricarda Asher with 1:59.73 minutes.
During the next few days, Solush is expected to have a number of additional events, when she will try to get as high as possible in them, as tomorrow (Tuesday), her brother Barnash will participate in the men's combined competition.
