A consecration which allows France to consolidate its third place in the concert of the most successful nations at the Worlds behind Austria (302 medals including 101 gold) and Switzerland (204 medals including 69 gold).
The Blues collected 136 charms in total, including 47 in gold.
25 of these titles (including six for Jean-Claude Killy alone) were obtained by 13 French skiers.
