Yeni Maltyaspor announced on its Twitter account the death of its goalkeeper, Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan, following the earthquakes that occurred earlier this week in Turkey.
He was 28 years old and played his entire career in Turkey.
Research is still underway to find other missing persons, including some players from the Turkish championship.
