2023-02-07T10:01:54.425Z

The Alpine Skiing World Championships continue this Tuesday in Courchevel-Méribel with the men's combined.

French skier Cyprien Sarrazin, hit in the back, withdrew from the combined, the first men's event of the Alpine Skiing World Championships on Tuesday in Courchevel.

"

He re-blocked his back this morning during warm-up

," wrote the France team in a press release, while Sarrazin had been in treatment since Sunday after having blocked his back for the first time.

Three Frenchmen will therefore be at the start of the combined (a super-G then a slalom): Alexis Pinturault, among the outsiders for a medal, Blaise Giezendanner and Nils Allègre, the latter two having planned to take part only in the super-G to obtain track information.
