Danny Avdia continues to show improved offensive qualities, as the numbers prove.
Tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) the Washington forward finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and also 3 turnovers in the 114:91 loss to Cleveland, and even though the Wizards suffered a third loss, the Israeli continued to show signs of life when it comes to initiative and responsibility on the offensive side.
Avdia has scored in double figures in nine of Washington's last 11 games, and with the exception of two minor stumbles, he looks more involved, more confident and, above all, more efficient at scoring points.
This is also reflected in the rate of extortion of his offences, which is increasing.
In 13 games in January, he went to the free throw line 3.1 times per game - the most in any month of his NBA career.
In the Wizards' two games in February, Avdia got to the line an average of 7 times.

Aldridge even quoted a senior official of one of the teams in the league who said about Avdia: "His trade value is very limited at this stage. He is still a player who is largely considered an enigma."
Tommy Shepherd, the general manager of the Wizards, repeated in recent weeks that the trade that sent Roy Hachimura to the Lakers was intended, among other things, to make room for Abadia.
The quotes from league officials call that assumption into question, and illustrate that the Wizards may have had no choice but to move Hachimura, as he has generated significant interest from other teams.
Either way, ahead of the trade deadline that will arrive in two days, the Wizards are considering making another move.
According to "NBC", the Wizards may try to add another forward who stands out on the defensive side, with the understanding that "Danny Avdia needs assistance" in one of the parameters that are considered the Achilles heel of the team: one-on-one defense of guards and forwards.
