Alpine Skiing World Championships: Marta Bassino crowned, the Blues far from the podium

Italian Marta Bassino won the super-G of the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Méribel. On the French side, only Tessa Worley managed to enter the Top 10 (8th).


Parallel world champion two years ago at the Cortina d'Ampezzo Worlds, the Italian Marta Bassino (26) won her second crown on the Méribel super-G track this Wednesday.

The Transalpine, which flew over the second part of the course to widen the gap on the favorites, is ahead of Mikaela Schiffrin by 0”11.
