The American Pellegrino Matarazzo has been appointed coach of Hoffenheim to replace the German André Breitenreiter, sacked on Monday, the 14th in the German championship announced in a press release on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old technician has signed up until the summer of 2025 with Hoffenheim.
