Julian Nagelsmann and FC Bayern Munich have found a new goalkeeping coach.
Michaelrechner from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is moving to the record German soccer champion.
The Munich have confirmed the personnel.
Bayern had parted ways with Toni Tapalović after more than ten years, to the great disappointment of international goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Neuer had expressed his anger in an interview and caused a stir.
New competitor, new goalkeeping coach
The 36-year-old had a skiing accident after the disappointing first-round elimination at the World Championships in Qatar, the consequences of which made him miss the rest of the season.
As a replacement, the club had taken Yann Sommer as an experienced keeper and Swiss national goalkeeper for around eight million euros.
After his return, Neuer will have to face an unfamiliar competition – under a new goalkeeping coach.
The 42-year-old calculator had been responsible for the entire goalkeeping area at TSG since 2008 as “goalkeeping coordinator”.
From 2015 he had managed the goalkeepers of the professional team.
Nagelsmann and Computer worked closely together for several years during their time together in Hoffenheim.
Nagelsmann held various positions at TSG from 2010 to 2019.
"With Michael's move to Munich, nothing less than an era comes to an end here," said Hoffenheim's professional football director Alexander Rosen.
For the time being, Alexander Stolz will train the TSG goalkeeper group.
He had always represented calculator when he was with the Turkish national team coached by Stefan Kuntz.
In Hoffenheim, who introduced a new coach in Pellegrino Matarazzo today,rechner still had a contract until mid-2026.
According to information from "Kicker", FC Bayern should pay a mid-six-digit transfer fee for computers to TSG Hoffenheim.
