Abu Fani, Mohamed, Batubinsika and Sak refused to wear the pride shirts for the Greens • Burard, Lavabidi and Ifola performed a similar act for Hapoel Hadera • The champion responded: "We gave the players freedom to choose. Quite a few of our fans are sons and daughters of the LGBT community"

As happened last Saturday with some of the Bnei Sakhnin and Bnei Rayna players, this evening (Wednesday) also other players did not agree to join the initiative of the league director, wearing the shirt of the IGI association, with the LGBT symbol on it, all this before the game between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Hadera at the stadium in Netanya.

For the Greens, Mohammed Abu Fani, Ali Mohammed, Abdoulai Sak and Dylan Batinsika, decided not to wear the shirt.

At Hapoel Hadera it is Sami Burrard, Dia Lavabidi and Philip Ifola.

Maccabi Haifa's response: "The club sees every activity for the gay community as important and valuable.

Quite a few of our fans are members of the LGBT community and we are proud of that. We will do everything so that they will always feel part of the green family.

Some with the shirts and some without,

"We gave the team players the freedom to choose whether to participate in this activity, seeing that each person comes from a different community, background and cultural, religious world. We will continue to support and identify with the community in every way and activity."
