The amazing career of LeBron James reached a new high tonight - literally - when one of the greatest athletes ever smashed one of the greatest records ever, becoming the NBA's all-time king of baskets.
The Los Angeles Lakers star reached the 36 points he needed, dethroning Kareem Abdul Jabbar from the top with his 38,387 points, and the game against Oklahoma City is still in progress.
LeBron started with a storm and finished the first half with 20 points, although he and his friends were unable to stop the Thunder and went to the locker room trailing 76:66.

King James came into the league as the first pick in the 2003 draft and was immediately crowned the next thing.
