EV Moosburg could get rid of all relegation worries with a win against Lechbruck.

Advantage: Nothing is at stake for the opponent.

Moosburg

– The state league ice hackers from EV Moosburg have their first match ball on Friday: ERC Lechbruck is a guest in the Clariant Arena at 7.30 p.m 1b (against Ottobrunn) or Forst (in Fürstenfeldbruck) loses.

EV Moosburg wants to end ERC winning streak

For Lechbruck, the trip to the Dreirosenstadt is only an excursion: they finally chased away the specter of relegation last Sunday with a 4-2 win against Ottobrunn.

In the open Lechpark Stadium, the hosts kept their perspective in the snow flurry and extended their winning streak in the relegation round to five wins in a row.

The ERC will not give this away without a fight on Friday - and so the Moosburgers can expect a physically robust opponent, as they did in the 3: 5 in the first leg.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

“We want to close the sack on Friday.

The team played very well twice last week and I expect the same on Friday,” says EVM coach Benoit Doucet.

It will be important for his team that they don't let themselves be fooled and - like in the duel in Lechbruck - fall behind early on.

Although the Isarstadt team were still fighting back to 2:3, they conceded two more goals due to individual errors in the final third.

Almost all actors are on board

Recently, the green and yellow seemed to be in a better mood.

Coach Doucet praised his team's performance in the away games in Bad Aibling and at Schliersee/Miesbach 1b.

There was a clear 7:2 win against the latter, in which the Moosburgers took advantage of their chances right from the start and also kept their nerves in check when things got tight.

In addition, the power play worked quite well, two goals were scored outnumbered.

Above all, however, Doucet liked the penalty kill, which prevented the opponent from getting close again.

That's why the Green-Yellows are confident that the win against Lechbruck will also work out, especially since almost all players will be on board on Friday evening.
