Across the continent we applauded the Yellows for the move that left the star in Israel, despite the courtship of the Euroleague runner-up: "Today is a happy day for Maccabi fans"

Maccabi Tel Aviv recorded a great achievement today (Thursday) when it managed to extend the contract of Lorenzo Brown, the team's coordinator, and one of the most respected players in Europe.

As you know, Real Madrid expressed interest in the player and tried to get their hands on her, but the Yellows managed to sign him to a long contract for 3 years.

Maccabi's signing caused a stir on the entire continent.

The Spanish "Marca" wrote: "Real loses lost Lorenzo Brown to Maccabi Tel Aviv. The tax regime in Israel allowed Maccabi to offer a better contract than Real Madrid and the center decided to continue in Tel Aviv." In Basket News they wrote: "Today is a happy day for the fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv, Lorenzo Brown extended his contract with the team."

It is also written that Brown's signature in yellow may cause Real Madrid to try and bring back Pacondo Campazzo, who returned from the NBA and signed with Red Star Belgrade, who currently cannot play in the media due to Euroleague rules.

In the Euroleague, Brown recorded impressive averages of 16.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

This is the second contract extension of the yellows in the last week, after the signing of the team's center Roman Sorkin for two more years until the summer of 2025.
