Linda Jackson, CEO of Peugeot: "We don't want to go to Formula 1 because the investment is too high"

The boss of the Lion brand displays Peugeot Sport's ambitions in the World Endurance Championship and for the 24 Hours of Le Mans while ruling out the possibility of a return to F1.


In a month, Peugeot will make its grand return to the World Endurance Championship over a full season, on the occasion of the 1000 miles of Sebring, in the United States.

The beginning of serious things for the French brand which took part in the last three races of last season in order to test its Hypercar without pressure before jumping into the grain bath in 2023. Facing Toyota, Porsche, Cadillac or even Ferrari, back in the discipline, Linda Jackson, the general manager of Peugeot, displayed the ambitions of the Lion which will defend its chances with two cars, the 9X8 n°93 in the hands of Jean-Eric Vergne, Paul di Resta, Mikkel Jensen and his twin, n°94 entrusted to Gustavo Menezes, Loïc Duval and Nico Müller (n°94).
