Before the Champions League game against FC Bayern: PSG flies out of the cup
The superstar troop does not currently have the aura of the super team.
One might think that the German record champions will face a beatable opponent in the premier class next Tuesday (February 14).
On the other hand, as the saying goes, you should not underestimate a battered boxer.
The star ensemble from Paris Saint-Germain once again delivered a questionable performance this season on Wednesday evening.
World champion Lionel Messi's team lost 2-1 to Olympique Marseille in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.
FC Bayern is coming to Paris next week – the alarm bells are ringing, the atmosphere is at rock bottom.

Nerves are on edge: PSG on the ground before CL crackers against Bayern – "Better to shut up"
The cup debacle means the next low blow for PSG.
Kylian Mbappé will probably miss the first leg of the first knockout round in the Champions League against Bayern due to injury, even if FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann doesn't really believe in Mbappé's failure.
"We missed a lot, now it's better to shut up," captain Marquinhos told TV station
Bein Sports
after the bankruptcy in Marseille.
"We know that we have to improve a lot if we want to achieve something this season," complained Marquinhos - also with a view to the round of 16 first leg against Bayern on Tuesday.
"A title that's gone, it hurts." Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who recently underwent a Twitter glitch, rumbled: "We are angry".

PSG before Bayern duel: Neymar delivers "disturbing" performance
The cup-off once again raised doubts that the star ensemble, worth billions, will meet Bayern at the height of their creative power.
"This time it's serious," wrote the trade journal
L'Equipe
about the third defeat in 2023.
Returnee Neymar, out of the recent league wins against Montpellier and Toulouse due to muscular problems, hit the post and prepared the 1-1 from Sergio Ramos (45+2) with a corner.
Overall, however, he gave a "disturbing performance" (L'Equipe).
Losing the ball led to the winning goal for Marseille, coach Galtier, who was recently upset by Nagelsmann's statements, spoke of a "somewhat stupid goal".
PSG: Bayern dress rehearsal against Nübel's Monaco
Of particular concern is the persistent reluctance of offensive casters to do defensive work.
"It was easy to play out from behind," said Reims captain Yunis Abdelhamid after the 1-1 draw in Paris, "the three up front just don't defend." Namely Messi, Neymar and Mbappé.
On Saturday, the Parisians have to do their dress rehearsal for the CL cracker against Bayern in Monaco.
In the Principality, FCB loan Alexander Nübel has been in the box since 2021.
Does the ex-Bayern goalkeeper make the PSG stars even angrier with his saves?
