The 23-year-old from Penzberg, who has been playing for LSC Höchstadt/Aisch since this year, has beaten the norm for the German championship (February 18th/in Dortmund) in his two most recent appearances.

At the "Erfurt Indoor" Jäger ran the 1500 meters in 3:50.39 minutes and took sixth place.

The race was characterized by changing pace, the 1000 meter mark was passed after 2:33 minutes.

After that there was unrest in the field, also because the judges had miscounted and it was not quite clear how many laps were still to be run.

The track length in the hall is 200 meters.

It was won by the Austrian Sebastian Frey (3:47.55).

The day after, Jäger competed with Florian Bremm and Friedrich Biniok at the southern German indoor championships in Sindelfingen.

In the relay competition over 3 x 1000 meters, the trio took second place with 7:29.01 minutes behind LG Nordschwarzwald (7:25.17).

The DM norm was 7:30.00 minutes.

Jäger ran in second place and completed “his” 1000 meters in 2:27 minutes;

he also managed to catch up with the leading season again.

Katharina Vogl from Hohenpeissenberg also competed in the title fights in Sindelfingen.

In the LG Augsburg jersey, she finished 15th in the long jump with 5.11 meters.

The 23-year-old completed the 60-meter sprint in 8.13 seconds, but did not make it into the final.

In the hobby run over 4450 meters, Paulina Kisselbach from TSV Penzberg shone as the fastest woman.

The 29-year-old from Wackersberg crossed the finish line in 19:41 minutes.

Only four men were faster than the TSV athlete.

Kisselbach was exactly one and a half minutes faster than the second best woman, Christiane Tillschneider (MTV Pfaffenhofen).

The day's victory went to the Austrian Armin Zankl with a time of 16:57 minutes.
