Halftime summary: Manchester City - Aston Villa 0:3 (Sport 1)
Late goals from Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Grancho to give Manchester United a 2-0 win at Elland Road should have been the center of attention after the North of England derby.
But what stole the focus was the behavior of the Leeds and Red Devils fans, who played hate songs and led both clubs to issue a sharp condemnation message shortly after the game.
Some of the home crowd teased the opposition with songs about the 1958 Munich disaster, the event in which a plane crash claimed the lives of eight Manchester United players and three staff.
In response, the visiting fans reminded Leeds of the tragedy in Istanbul from 2000, when two fans were stabbed to death.
In a joint statement on behalf of the two clubs, it is written: "We strongly condemn the songs from both audiences in today's game, regarding historical tragedies. Such behavior is unthinkable and we will continue to work together to eradicate it from football, together with the fans of both teams, the Premier League management and authorities others".
The Premier League also commented on the incident: "We consider the treatment of songs about the tragedies as a top priority and an urgent issue."
Along with the unfortunate event, the game itself also left quite a lot to talk about, as mentioned.
The one who continued in hot form is Rashford, who found the net again and since returning from the World Cup break has 12 goals and four assists in 14 games in all formats.
In only two of those games he was not involved in the goal.
Granacho, who came off the bench in the 61st minute and scored the second goal, has already been involved in four goals as a substitute this season in the Premier League (two of which he scored) - more than any other player, and he is only 18 years old.
"God is great," tweeted the young Argentine.

When asked if Rashford is in the best shape of all the strikers in the world, Manchester United coach Erik ten Haag replied: "He is definitely one of the best right now. From the first moment I was excited to work with him and I believed in him, I thought I could get more out of him. He has such high potential." , told the BBC.
Later, the Dutchman gave an interview to "Sky", and added: "After the game I told him, 'What a goal!' . It was a great finish. Another team goal, a great lift from Luke Shaw."
