Ben Sharaf came into the Junior EuroLeague tournament in Patras, Greece with high expectations - and lived up to every one of them this weekend.

The 16-year-old guard (1.96 meters) played a total of three games for the talent team coached by former Finnish center Petri Koponen, and showed why he is considered one of the hottest names on the continent for his age group.

After his performances last weekend, the international scout of the Portland Trailblazers, Nico Matthew, said: "This is a super talent."

It started with 24 points (6 of 11 for 2, 3 of 7 for 3, 3 of 5 from the free9, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 turnovers in just 20 minutes in the first game of the tournament, in which his team defeated 50 :79 Olympiakos. "I didn't expect anything less than that," tweeted the Greek journalist Theo Anastasoudis. "He scores in every possible way."
