Officially: Omar Atzili extended his contract at Maccabi Haifa until 2026 Israel today

As first published in "Israel Hayom", midfielder Omer Atzili signed today (Sunday) through his agent, Ronen Katsav, on a contract for three and a half more years with an option for another season and an exit clause for one million euros. Atzili (29.5), as I recall, joined Maccabi Haifa in January 2021 and has a significant part in the team's great achievements in the last two years.

He has played in the green uniform so far 117 games in all formats, in which he scored 52 goals (including two historic goals against Juventus in the Champions League) and scored 35 goals.

Atzili has so far won two championships with Maccabi, the Champions League, the Toto Cup and reached the group stage of the Champions League and the Conference League.

After the signing, he told the official website: "I am happy and satisfied to continue at Maccabi Haifa, which has become my home since I arrived here. My mind is all about continuing to make the green crowd happy and bring achievements to the club."

The club's sporting director, Gal Alberman, commented on the signing already at the conclusion stage: "From his first day at the club, Omer showed great commitment to leading the team to success and quickly became a key player.
