Pierre Ménès, accused of moral harassment by a former collaborator, benefited from an order of non-suit, indicated Monday the parquet floor of Nanterre, requested by AFP.

Emmanuel Trumer, who worked from September 2017 to June 2018 with Pierre Ménès as an employee, had filed a complaint against him in October 2019 for moral harassment.

This complaint had been dismissed in October 2020 by the Nanterre prosecutor's office "

for insufficiently characterized offense

".

Emmanuel Trumer, who denounces in particular “

homophobic

” and “

racist

” remarks by Pierre Ménès, had then obtained the opening of a judicial investigation in December 2020, following the filing of a complaint with a civil action.

A procedure in which an examining magistrate had placed the columnist under the intermediate status of assisted witness.

He apologized

On February 6, the investigating judge ordered a dismissal, in accordance with the prosecution's requisitions made in mid-December.

Contacted Monday by AFP, his lawyer did not react immediately.

Pierre Ménès, 59, is also targeted by a preliminary investigation by the Nanterre prosecutor's office, still in progress, for sexual assault and sexual harassment, after the revelations of journalist Marie Portolano.

In this case, he was heard last September in an open hearing by investigators from the Brigade for the repression of delinquency against persons (BRDP).

All the magistrates therefore concluded that a complaint was based on bad faith and malice.

These investigations definitively exonerate Pierre Ménès and confirm the fabrications of Emmanuel Trumer

”, reacted to AFP Me Arash Derambarsh, the lawyer for the ex-columnist, adding that he wanted to file “

a complaint for slanderous denunciation in the coming days. in order to restore his honor

”.

Didier Seban, Emmanuel Trumer's lawyer, said he was appealing this order.

The ex-columnist had left Canal + in the summer of 2021 after these revelations which had prompted him to present his "

regrets

" and "

most sincere apologies

" to his "

victims

".

He must also be tried in Paris in March for sexual assault in another case.

He is being prosecuted for acts of sexual assault, "

touching

" in the chest and stomach reported to the police by a hostess from the Parc des Princes after the PSG-Nantes match on November 20, 2021 in Paris.

This woman had not filed a complaint.
