It was a dramatic Super Bowl, one of the best we've seen in recent years.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs provided a Hollywood drama in Arizona, in the end the Chiefs won 35:38 and won their second Super Bowl in the last four years.

The game was volatile.

Philadelphia controlled the tempo and seemed on their way to victory, what with Patrick Mahomes getting injured late in the first half.

He came back after the break and turned a double digit deficit into a big win.

As far as the Eagles are concerned, a great season ended in great disappointment for them.

Before the match, an emotional ceremony was held in honor of Demar Hamlin, a Palo Bills player who almost lost his life on the field a month and a half ago in a game against Cincinnati.

Quarter 1: 7:7

The Chips won the toss and elected to defend first.

The Eagles, as they have done all season, had a deadly drive in the opening.

Jaylen Hertz delivered and emerged, and finally entered the endzone - 0:7 for Philadelphia.

The French responded quickly.

Patrick Mahomes started well with a run that showed he was overcoming his ankle injury, Isaiah Pacheco ran well with the ball and the move ended with a pass from the quarterback to Travis Kelsey - 7:7.

Kansas City stopped the Eagles and Homes got the ball again and advanced by teaming up with Kelsey.

The Eagles stopped the Chiefs this time in front of the danger zone, and Harrison Buttaker missed a 42-yard field goal - still tied and that was the end of the quarter.

2nd quarter: 14:24 for Philadelphia

What an opening.

Hertz passed a laser for 45 yards, AJ Brown caught in the endzone - 7:14, the advantage returns to Philadelphia.

The Eagles had momentum, stopped the Chips and got the ball back in their hands, but then Hertz had a mishap.

He came forward, dropped the ball and Nick Bolton caught it and ran 36 yards to the endzone - 14:14.

Hertz and the Eagles came to their senses and mostly used their legs to make a way toward the Chiefs' endzone.

At the end of another brilliant drive the quarterback again found the net - 14:21.

On the next drive Mahoms tried to pass, ran and fell on his injured ankle.

The ball is back to the Eagles as he receives treatment on the bench.

Hertz advanced Philly to the distance of a field goal, and Jake Elliott threaded the ball between the posts - 14:24 for Philadelphia at the break.

3rd quarter: 21:27 for Philadelphia

Mahomes returned and led the Chiefs towards the Eagles' line.

After a perfect drive Isaiah Pacheco closed the matter - 21:24, and the Chips were completely in the game.

The Eagles controlled the clock and continued to advance, but the Chiefs defense stopped them and they settled for Elliott's field goal - 21:27 at the end of the third quarter.

Quarter 4:

Mahomes moved the Chiefs forward, while the Eagles lose focus on defense.

At the end of the move, Mahomas sent Kadrius Toni - and Kansas City took the first lead in the game, 27:28.

The Eagles lost control.

The runner failed to complete a drive and Philadelphia punted to punt.

Tony took control of the punt and ran almost all the way to the endzone.

Mahomes handed Sky Moore - and suddenly it's 27:35 for Kansas City with less than 10 minutes on the clock.

The runner understood that it was time to rush, led a successful drive, handed off to DeVanta Smith for 46 yards and again, as in the opening, penetrated the endzone himself - 33:35.

The Eagles went for a two-point conversion and the runner entered - 35:35.

Kansas City got the ball with a chance to run down the clock and end the game.

A series of first-down pass-and-run drives, including a spectacular rush by Mahomes and a great run by Jerick McKinnon that stopped just short of the one-yard line to run time off the clock and prevent Philadelphia from responding, allowed Harrison Buttaker to kick the game-winning field goal.

He did - and the Chiefs won 35:38 and won their second Super Bowl in four years.
