Menachem suffered a blow to the head when he landed on the ground, lost consciousness and was rushed to the Rambam Hospital.
Maccabi Haifa announced this morning (Monday) that the left defender is currently undergoing a series of comprehensive tests and the medical team has decided to suspend operations until the defender passes all the necessary tests. The club's doctor, Dr. Samer Hayek, told the club's official website: "San is undergoing extensive tests, so far the results have been good, they are waiting for a neurologist's approval for a quick return to activity."
It should be noted that the main concern and caution stems from the fact that this is the third time that Menachem has been hit in the head and diagnosed with a concussion.
Pierre Corneau has not yet returned to full activity after a hamstring injury and in the 0:2 victory over Kiryat Shmona on Saturday, Sean Goldberg will be deployed as a left back - the position he played most of his career, before being shifted to the center of defense.
