The round of 16 of the Champions League is back tonight (Tuesday), with a meeting between two of the most disappointing teams in European football in 2023 - Milan, who are currently hosting Tottenham at the San Siro.
The Rossoneri, who returned to the knockout stages for the first time since 2014, have won only two games since the World Cup break, while the unstable Roosters suffered a home foursome from Leicester, precisely after the great victory over Manchester City.
The big problem of the two is the lack of the French goalkeepers.
In Milan, Mike Mannion continues to be absent who was injured somewhere in September, and on the other hand it is Hugo Lloris who is missing, and in his absence Fraser Forster was placed between the posts.
Other injured are Ismail Benasser, who is missing from the Rossoneri, and Rodrigo Bentancourt, who was injured on Saturday and was diagnosed with a tear that will disable him at least until the beginning of next season.
Antonio Conte is also missing the yellowing Pierre-Emile Hoyberg, so the Roosters are definitely in a tough spot in midfield, where youngsters Oliver Skipp and Papa Saar have been placed together.
For the host, Pikayo Tomori who was in doubt remained out of the squad, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic who returned to the squad in the league but did not register for the knockout stages of the champions.
