Paris Saint-Germain found out yesterday (Tuesday) again that it is difficult to change tradition.
Despite the big stars of the French team, in the end Kingsley Coman did it again: the Frenchman scored the winning goal against the former, just like in the 2020 final, and set a sweet 0:1 for Bayern Munich over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions.
PSG were very disappointing in the first half, but Kylian Mbappe came on as a substitute in the 57th minute and brought the change.
Unfortunately, the French star scored two goals but both were disallowed.
Leo Messi was not active enough, but almost equalized before the end and was stopped by Benjamin Fabre, who was sent off.
The Bavarians gained a big advance heading into the second leg, but according to the balance of power in the second half, everything is open.
Another disappointing evening.

Paris Saint-Germain recorded a fifth loss in 2023, and we're only in February.
The French champions, by comparison, have lost just four times in all of 2022. They have failed to score just twice in their last 33 home Champions League games - both against Bayern Munich.
The previous time was in April 2021.
Mbappe remained optimistic, saying at the end: "In the last part of the game we showed that we can make them feel uncomfortable when we play our attacking football. Let's hope that everyone with us will be healthy for the rematch. We will go there with the goal of winning and qualifying for the next stage."
On his physical condition: "I didn't plan to play, but I wanted to help my friends... You have to move on, and quickly, keep what's positive, and go there to pass a stage. From what I've seen, there is a chance."
Danilo Pereira hints that his team must change their attitude: "We mustn't be afraid, we need to be more attacking. In the last 15 minutes we were very good. We must play more attacking. A comeback in Munich against Bayern? I think it's possible."
Sergio Ramos also didn't like his team's style in the opening: "In the first half we played too low, we were too defensive, and it was very difficult like that, it's a complicated game. I'm very disappointed for the fans. We'll have to show more character in the return match in Munich. The more you play More, you have more experience. It will get better and better, but now we have to stay united."
