Assaf Lieber, chairman of the Maccabi Targets Tel Aviv team, said before the game:
"We are still savoring the vapors of the amazing and unimaginable atmosphere we experienced last week at Hadar Yosef.
We want to continue to make our fans happy and make sure that they will be able to see us in another European game this season - the final game.
We got here and it feels like a dream to all of us.
We don't want to stop dreaming!
The heat, energy and push we get from the crowd challenges all of us in the team and we are all tuning in to one goal - to return to Israel with the ticket to the final."
Maccabi captain Gennady Sokolov said:
"We are trying to recover as quickly as possible from the difficult journey (3 flights) to the island. All the players are preparing and concentrating for the game which is expected to be very difficult against a home team. Our goal is one - to win and qualify for the final."
