During the months of December 2022 and January 2023, it was possible to register on the Paris 2024 website. This Wednesday, February 15, the opening date of the ticket office, allows the luckiest to access the first tickets put on sale .
How many tickets are available?
This first phase does not represent all of the tickets on sale.
The organization of Paris 2024 plans nearly 10 million tickets (13.5 million with the Paralympic Games) for sale.
During this first stage, which takes place between February 15 and March 15, “only” three million tickets will be available.
How is the purchase going?
1st stage: The chosen ones will be able to obtain a maximum of 30 tickets.
They will have a 48 hour slot to create “packs”.
This happens in three stages: first, you have to select the session of a sport, corresponding to a time slot (example: the rowing M/F qualifying sequence on August 27, from 9 a.m. to 1:10 p.m.) .
Then choose the location category between A, B, C or D in the sports arena.
Finally, choose the number of places, six maximum per session.
2nd step: again choose a session, the category of places, the number of places.
3rd step: once again choose a session, the category of places desired and the number of places desired.
The operation, repeated three times, constitutes a pack.
The people drawn can compose three packs, so nine sessions in total.
It is possible to buy tickets for family or friends.
Concrete example: a customer can buy three tickets for athletics on August 3 in category C, five places for rowing in category A on July 27 and two places for badminton on July 28 in category D. This constitutes a pack ( ten seats).
The buyer can stop here, or still has twenty places for two other packs if he wishes.
What are the ticket prices?
Ticket prices vary greatly depending on the sport, the venue, and whether it is a qualifying event or a medal event.

, Paris 2024 provides 1 million tickets at 24 euros, and 50% of the total tickets at less than 50 euros.
Prices that can also skyrocket.
Count 690 euros for a place at the Stade de France on August 7, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., in order to attend various semi-finals and finals such as the women's pole vault, the men's 400 meters or the men's discus throw.
Is it still possible to get tickets?
If you participated in the draw on the Paris 2024 site in previous weeks, it is possible to be drawn until March 15.
Otherwise, other sales phases will be implemented.
A phase of single ticket sales will begin on May 11, and another in the fall of 2023, including places for both ceremonies.
