Carrie Schreiner wants to be in Formula 1
The dream of the 24-year-old from Saarland is to one day drive in Formula 1 – there has never been a female driver there.
And she's on the right track, even if it's still a long way off.
She will be the first German to start at the new F1 Academy.
She climbs into the cockpit for the top team ART, the French racing team was involved in the career of several top drivers such as Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.
"I'm excited to see what we can achieve together.
I think it's an important step that Formula 1 is creating its own championship for women."

Carrie Schreiner: "I didn't expect so much feedback"
She gets a lot of encouragement on her Instagram channel.
"I didn't expect so much feedback.
I'll do my best to hold up the German flag," she promises.
Schreiner is not new to the motorsport scene and has definitely made its mark.
In 2012 she was still the only girl to win the ADAC Kart Masters.
In 2015 and 2016 she drove in the German and British Formula 4.

Carrie Schreiner and Sophia Flörsch: The German motorsport hopes
Driving for ART in the F1 Academy is a "great honor" for her, as she admits.
In recent years, she has been primarily active in GT racing.
In addition to Sophia Flörsch, who has long been known to die-hard motorsport fans, Schreiner is the German driver with the best prospects of making it into the premier class one day.
Flörsch from Munich drives in Formula 3 for PHM Racing.
