Amos was a busy night (between Wednesday and Thursday) in the NBA league, when ten games were played.
At its center, the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic beat the Dallas Mavericks in a close game, and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Miami Heat thanks to a record-breaking performance by Mikal Bridges.
Denver Nuggets - Dallas Mavericks 109:118
Substitute Jeff Green scored a season-high 24 points, Nikola Jokic had his 21st triple-double of the season, and the Denver Nuggets entered the All-Star break with a victory over the shorthanded Dallas Mavericks.
The Serbian joker finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the Nuggets who lead the West, and went up to an incredible 4:27 record this season at home.
Michael Porter Jr. hit five 3-pointers and finished with 22 points.
Luka Doncic had 37 points as Dallas was without guard Kyrie Irving because of lower back pain.
Doncic and Irving have played side by side in two games since Irving joined the team in the huge trade.
Mavericks' Luka Doncic on if the Nuggets are the clear favorite in the West:
"There's a lot of great teams. With a guy like Jokic, they're probably the favorite. It's so hard to play against him. So, when you have a guy like Jokic on your team, you're the favorite, always."

Brooklyn Nets - Miami Heat 105:116

"My teammates found me every time," Bridges said at the end.
The Nets led by just one point before Bridges went on a huge layup that clinched the game.
He alone raised the team to a 9-point lead, and the basket that closed the story was scored by Cam Johnson - who also came from Phoenix in the same deal.
Bridges scored 17 points in the final quarter to break his previous high of 34 points.
He finished with 17 of 24 from the field, 4 of 6 for 3, and 7 of 7 from the free throw line, as he also recorded eight rebounds and five assists.
