This year the flow of the Jewish woman Gili Sharri has recently led her to the third place in the world, in the weight category up to 63 kg, and it seems that this is just the beginning for her.
Since last year's European Championships in Tashkent, where she stepped on the podium to receive the bronze medal, Sharr also achieved the silver medal in the Mongolian Grand Slam and the silver in this competition in Abu Dhabi and topped off last year with the bronze medal in the prestigious Masters competition held in Jerusalem.
The 23-year-old Shair started this year impressively when she managed to wear the gold medal around her neck at the Paris Grand Slam.
Today (Friday), she will want to continue the momentum in front of the home crowd, in the Tel Aviv Grand Slam, held at Shlomo Hall.

"I just got a serious boost from the last competition," Sharr said on the eve of the competition.
"I was very happy to win the gold, it was a very fun feeling at the moment I always dreamed of it, and I would like to repeat it as many times as possible. It gives a lot of motivation to continue."
How do you feel about Tel Aviv?
"I'm in a very good momentum, in perhaps the best period I've ever had. To succeed in front of the Israeli audience is very special."
What led to the change?
"I have matured a lot. Both mentally and emotionally, that I have realized many things about myself. I arrive much more liberated, much more confident in my judo and as a person."
At your weight, there is the French Olympic champion Clarisse Agbanino, who returned after giving birth. What do you say about that?
"Claris is Claris, you can't know how she will come back. After all, she is after childbirth and an injury, I try to treat her like the other contestants and not give her a halo and make her more than she is."
