Alpine Ski Worlds: Norwegian Kristoffersen slalom world champion, no French podium


Henrik Kristoffersen beat Greek AJ Ginnis. First Habs, Clément Noël finished 4th.

The Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen won the title of slalom world champion on Sunday in Courchevel ahead of the Greek AJ Ginnis, the first medalist in the history of his country at the World Alpine Skiing Championships.

The Italian Alex Vinatzer won the bronze medal three hundredths of a second ahead of the French Olympic champion Clément Noël, at the foot of the podium in the last event of the World Championships.
