Desert words against referee Tobias Welz: Julian Nagelsmann's freak out in Gladbach has consequences.
The DFB is investigating against the coach of FC Bayern.
Munich/Gladbach - The control committee of the German Football Association (DFB) will initiate investigations against Julian Nagelsmann.
The DFB announced this on Sunday (February 19).
Julian Nagelsmann: DFB initiates investigations against Bayern coaches
The head coach of FC Bayern Munich is said to have made unsportsmanlike comments to the referee team around Tobias Welz after the defeat in the Bundesliga game at Borussia Mönchengladbach (2: 3).
This was preceded by a red card against Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano in the eighth minute.
As a first step, the control committee will write to Nagelsmann at the beginning of the week and ask for a statement, the DFB said.
After the statement has been received and evaluated, the committee will then decide on the further progress of the procedure.

Nagelsmann in the direction of Welz: "Unfortunately, I clearly went too far there"
Nagelsmann had expressed severe criticism of the referee after the final whistle of the game on Saturday.
The 35-year-old later apologized on social networks for his choice of words, which he says he went too far.
“Emotions are part of sport.
And given the red card, I had to vent after the game," Nagelsmann wrote on Twitter: "However, I have to apologize for the choice of words to Tobias Welz's team.
Unfortunately, I clearly went too far there.”

Does his freak out still have consequences?
Ironically, before the top game against Union Berlin on Saturday evening (5:30 p.m., here in the live ticker) in Munich’s Allianz Arena?
"Is he kidding me?" Nagelsmann scolded the referee in the mixed zone at Borussia Park.
The Munich coach then went into the referee's cabin to speak to Welz and his assistants.
He then referred to them as a "softened pack".
Already in the 3-0 (1-0) win against VfL Bochum, the native of Upper Bavaria screamed in the face of the fourth official after a decision.
