Summary of Fulham's 0:1 victory over Brighton from Manor Solomon's goal (Sport 1)
Manor Solomon's dramatic goal in Fulham's 1-0 win over Brighton proved the winger is coming back to himself after a difficult spell - but it also meant a lot, it turns out, off the pitch.
Martin Fry, an ardent Fulham fan, made the trip from London to Brighton with his young son, who has cancer, and the two were delighted when Solomon scored the winning goal against the run of play in the 88th minute.
Then Frei made sure to thank Solomon on social media, tagging him on Twitter and wrote: "After a short period in the hospital due to an infection caused by the chemotherapy treatments, I had an amazing day with my boy," Frei wrote, "He enjoyed every second on the field, and still hasn't recovered from the winning goal of Manor Solomon".
Fry even wrote that "this victory is a lifeline for my son. He and I were so excited together, after a while we were not allowed to go to the courts because of the illness."
Solomon's goal also had a special meaning for a British soccer fan who bet on the results of the Premier League round.
Thanks to Solomon's gate, he made a profit of over £1,300.

In England they continue to be impressed by Solomon's performance, and in the "Daily Mail" they claimed yesterday: "It will be difficult for Fulham to keep him in the team after the current season is over, and his loan from Shakhtar Donetsk is over. If he maintains this form, many clubs will try to sign him in the summer. In any case, There is little chance that he will return to the Ukrainian team."
