On the winding roads of the Normandy bocage in Gavray (Manche), Romane Lemière swallows the bitumen with her light stride.
A bulimia of kilometers: no less than 150 km every week, as soon as she can on the sidelines of her studies, in the bucolic charm of her native region.
She hopes, these efforts will perhaps take her to the French marathon team and, why not, one day, to the Olympic Games.
Probably not those of 2024 in Paris but four years later in Los Angeles.
La Normande, who has come a long way, can allow herself all the dreams.
Last September, this 23-year-old blonde woman signed the 10th best French performance of the year in the marathon, in Berlin (2h44' 42'').
A time which makes her one of the tricolor hopes of the discipline.
