On the "Eurohops" basketball website, Maccabi Tel Aviv's chances of making the EuroLeague playoffs this season are analyzed.
The yellows are now in the balance of 12:12 in the senior factory, when at home they lost only twice, and won 8 games.
Reporter Aris Barks wrote today (Wednesday):
"From the moment you enter Menorah Hall, you just understand. It's not a modern hall, but the history of the place and the ghosts of past greatness are still there, haunting every opponent."
"Six of the team's 10 games remaining in the regular season will be played in Tel Aviv, which gives Maccabi a chance to qualify for the playoffs even if they don't win away again. Moreover, Maccabi has a pretty good chance of getting at least one away win against Villerban, which is out of the playoff race."

And then a caveat:
"It won't be an easy task for Maccabi, considering that, among others, Fenerbahçe, Real Madrid, Baskonia will visit Tel Aviv, alongside Bayern Munich this week, Bologna and Milan. Still, it's hard to imagine that anyone will achieve an away victory in Tel Aviv. Simple There's nothing like Maccabi's homeliness, it's a legacy that this version of the team cherishes and wants to protect."
Coach Oded Ketch told this season after the victory over Olympiakos about the advantage the crowd gives Maccabi: "We're used to it, but we don't take it for granted."
