The former opening half of the XV of France Frédéric Michalak has signed up with Racing 92 where he will be in charge of the attack next season, the Ile-de-France Top 14 club announced on Thursday.

He is committing for three seasons and will join the Ciel et Blanc workforce (…) from the 2023-2024 sports season
,” Racing said on its website.
Michalak (40 years old, 77 caps between 2001 and 2015), currently a consultant in Toulon, will join the staff of Englishman Stuart Lancaster.
He will replace another Englishman, Rory Teague, who arrived last summer with the Ciel et Blancs.

The current coach Laurent Travers, in office since 2013, will take a step back to become chairman of the management board of the Hauts-de-Seine club.
Former player of Toulouse, Toulon or Lyon, the top scorer in the history of the Blues will find his former partners in the France team, Yannick Nyanga and Dimitri Szarzewski, respectively coach of the Espoirs and assistant in charge of defense.
