After 16 years in Europe, Marcelo returned to the club of his youth, and signed today (Friday) with the Brazilian Fluminense, where he started his great career.
Marcelo played for Fluminense between 2005 and 2007, and then moved to Real Madrid.
Together with the Blancos, he won six Spanish championships, two cups, and five champions' cups.
At the end of last season, the Brazilian defender left the Blancos, and signed with Olympiakos.
Now, after half a season in Greece, and after releasing his contract at the beginning of the week and becoming a free agent, he returned to his youth team as mentioned.
A hora de voltar came.
