Indispensable at the start of Galthié's mandate, the right-hander from Montpellier (28 years old, 14 caps) had gradually demoted in the hierarchy at the expense of the experienced Rochelais.

He is happy to find his place.

We all know his qualities, he is explosive, hard on the man”

Haouas is “endearing but he deserves special attention”

Modern pillar par excellence, both rough and dynamic, Houas will be vengeful against the Scots, he who had received a red card against them in March 2020 for a punch on Jamie Ritchie.

After having hit the headlines (for alleged acts of "

aggravated violence

" and "

destruction of equipment in meetings

" almost ten years ago), the French champion with the MHR and future player of Clermont finds the light.

He is endearing but he deserves special attention.

It's a challenge for us but for him too

, ”said manager Raphaël Ibanez.
