PSV Eindhoven beat Sevilla 0:2 yesterday (Thursday), but unfortunately they were kicked out of the Europa League, after losing the first game 3:0 to Ramon Sanchez Pijuan.
The Dutch luxury club that parted ways this season is full of stars including Cody Gakpo who moved to Liverpool, will now have to deal not only with relegation, but also with an embarrassing incident that happened yesterday at Philips Stadium, when a local fan broke into the grass and tried to attack the visiting goalkeeper - Marko Dmitrovic.
The Serbian Dmitrovic, who probably only once or twice in his life was not really moved by the fan, knocked him down on the grass, and forced him until the Dutch security forces arrived to arrest him.
Seconds after the incident, the players of both teams came to support the goalkeeper who seemed quite calm despite the unpleasant situation.
A PSV fan invaded the pitch and tried to attack Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrović.
