The German mixed ski jumping team won the gold medal at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica, Slovenia.
On Sunday, Selina Freitag, Karl Geiger, Katharina Althaus and Andreas Wellinger prevailed against the competition and won ahead of Norway with Tournament winner Halvor Egner Granerud and host Slovenia.
The competition was characterized by numerous wind interruptions and at the end also heavy snowfall.
Germany also emerged as winners in the World Cup Mixed in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021.
The guarantor was once again the individual world champion Althaus, who showed an outstanding jump in the final and put Germany in the lead.
There had already been several German World Cup successes on Saturday.
Wellinger and Geiger secured silver and bronze in the men's singles behind the old and new world champion Piotr Zyla from Poland.
Althaus and Freitag won the gold medal in the women's team competition alongside Anna Rupprecht and Luisa Görlich.
For the 26-year-old Althaus, four more medals are possible at this World Championships.
